The word is out

I guess the word has been out for a while but, baby # 2 is in the oven and I'm officially 20 weeks today!  Over the Holiday break DR and I found out what the sex of the baby was.  DR is extremely proud to say that it's a BOY!  Coming May 15, 2012.

U.G.L.Y. You ain't got no alibi, you UGLY!

For DR's company party this year we thought we would spice things up a bit with an ugly sweater contest.  The winner got $100!  DR was one vote away from taking home the cash.  I knew I should have voted for him!  It's all my fault.

O Christmas Tree

Oh how I love the holidays!  I had fun experimenting with a new tree theme this year.  I thought it was a little more masculine for DR.  One of his hunting buddies came over the other day and was impressed with the pheasant and peacock feathers.....until I told them they were fake.  Then he was disappointed.  He said it would have been way sweeter if they were real.  

 

                             

One Last Hoo-Rah!

With winter just around the corner, we decided we needed one last get away to soak up the last rays of summer.  Lake Powell was the destination.  We had a smashing good time and plan on doing it again next year.  It was nice to have it a little cooler for the little ones and not have to worry about shade and sunscreen.  

Momma Lisa

Oh, sure!  She won't sit still for me but she will for Aunt Mishy.  Rascal.  

Halloweeny

 Not much to say about Halloween this year.  As always, I was delighted to play dress up and even crafted parts of my costume.  As usual, DR griped about dressing up but was a good sport.  I have to give a shout out to my friend Jessamyn who was Little Bo Peep a few years ago and did an awesome job on her costume.  She is who I got my inspiration from.  

 DR was the big bad wolf of course.  

My dad was Dr. Evil.  Hilarious.  Mom and Kevin were rock stars.
