While DR was partying in Alaska, I had a little party of my own. A special thanks to my sisters, mom, mother-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends who helped put it all together.
Marci & Keisha did the adorable decorations and party favors.
This pictures makes me chuckle. I look like I'm going to topple over.
My Mia Maid class made this blanket for me. I love it!
What would I do without these two?!
Thanks Mom, Kris and MiSh for throwing me the party of the year!
DR and his dad just got back from a 16 day hunting trip in ALASKA!! He was on cloud 9 before, during, and even after this hunt. He has wanted to go to Alaska his whole life and his dream finally came true. I was glad to have him home but I think he would have stayed a little longer! They were literally in the wilderness for 2 weeks. A plane dropped them off and left them a satellite phone for emergency use only. I was lucky enough to talk to him twice. He had to call and make sure the baby didn't come early! I'm not much of a hunter, but I think these pictures are pretty cool.
These two crib bedding sets are for sale. I thought I would go into the biz for a minute and THEN realized how much work it would be! Truth be told I don't want to get rid of them but I'm running out of places to hide them from my husband. These are my babies. Meet Ali and Noah. They are both made from high end upholstery fabric, lined with trim and piping and come with removable bumpers for easy dry cleaning. I'm negotiable. Here's what they're listed for:
"Ali" includes bumpers, crib skirt and double sided minky throw.
$400.00
"Noah" includes bumpers and crib skirt.
$375.00
So if you or anyone you know might be interested, spread the word! Let's make a deal!
I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone. In just 6 short weeks we get to meet our baby girl! I've had so much fun getting the nursery put together, I can't wait to put her in her little crib. I'll post pictures when it's finished.
20 Weeks-- I actually felt like I was "Showing" in this picture. I chuckle at it now!
After a long summer, our yard is finally finished. A big thank you to many family members and friends who spent many hours in our yard. DR is now a pro at sprinklers and drip systems if anyone wants to take advantage of his skills.
This was one of my favorite trips to Lake Powell. The weather was fabulous. Not a cloud in the sky, and no wind for 3 days! To top it off, the water temp. was a perfect 82 degrees. Does it get any better? Everyone was able to come except for Kevin. He'll be home for next years trip. Kristen's baby Liv (7 months) and MiShelle's baby Daxton (11 months) did so well on the boat. We hardly heard a peep out of them. It gives me hope for my baby who will be 9 months old when we go next year. Thanks mom and dad for another fun trip to Lake Powell!
Nothing like a flat tire to start our trip!
Capt. Reno
MiShelle and Daxton. He was loving that watermelon.
Don't worry, Jesse closes his legs just in time.
Uncle Brandon teaching Ellie to wakeboard for the first time!
He insisted on bringing his cowboy hat. He said it was the finishing touch to the farmer tan, mullet and handle bar mustache.
The baby bump made surfing a little bit harder this year. I just couldn't resist the fabulous water!
The robot???
Ice Cream at Dangling Rope Marina, another tradition.
He is so excited to be a dad. He'll take any of the nieces and nephews anytime.
DR couldn't wait to fish
Brandon's kids Kaia and Evan. They would play on the beach all day if we would let them.
DR and I were married on July 6, 2007. We moved back to Vernal shortly after being married and have enjoyed living close to family and friends. DR works for his dad selling RVs and I get to stay home with our new baby girl Lucy.
